ÖBB: One newcomer and a lot of continuity in the executive suites (Vienna, June 29, 2023) - Important personnel decisions have been made at ÖBB. In doing so, the supervisory bodies are relying on continuity. Andreas Matthä, CEO of ÖBB since 2016, was confirmed until 2026 at yesterday's supervisory board meeting of ÖBB-Holding AG. As reported, Manuela Waldner will succeed Arnold Schiefer as CFO from July 1, 2023. Waldner, most recently a partner and managing director at the consulting firm Boston Consulting Group, was appointed for five years until 2028.  At ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG, Johann Pluy, the Board member responsible for Operations, Market and Digitization since 2019, was reappointed for a further five years until 2028. Heinz Freunschlag was also reappointed to the Board of Management of ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG, also responsible for Controlling & Reporting, Legal Affairs, Purchasing & Board Secretariat, Human Resources, IT & Digitalization since 2019.   You can find the entire management of the ÖBB Group here.
